For years, Chappell Central Inc. has been installing dust collection systems for numerous applications. This has been a very satisfying part of our business because the positive results are immediate and appreciated. Making any space safer and more pleasant to work in is always gratifying. Here are a few of our most recent installations.
RM Johnson
Over the years, Chappell Central has worked with RM Johnson to install several systems. We returned to RM Johnson in Annadale to install another collection system for a welding area.
Alexandria Pro Fab
Alexandria Pro Fab purchased three new “Wet Collectors” to handle the fine metal particulates liberated by their wheelabrators and other grinding processes. This picture shows the new downdraft table tied to a wet collector that they will be using for their hand grinding processes.
Forma Feed
Working with Dave Boehne of Air Cleaning Technologies (A.C.T.) we installed a dust 
collection system for Forma Feed in Stewart, MN in their packaging area. This involved a series of custom hoods for various mixing and packaging machines.
Gavilon Fertilizer
This was an interesting project because it presented a challenge due to the conveyance of the product. Also, the product was a super fine powder and difficult to contain within the capture velocity of the system. With the help of the Gavilon employees we were able to make some custom hoods to limit the dust in the breathing zone.
