The days of the standing pilot furnace and simple duct systems for homes are long gone. Today some of Chappell Central’s residential installations rival some of the more complex commercial installation projects. Residential projects may be smaller in scale, but can be just as high-tech.
Recently we were privileged to install the HVAC system for Jeff and Sonja Niedenthal’s new home. Working for John Layman of Layman Construction, Chappell Central installed a geothermal system using Water Furnace Geothermal Equipment with a Carrier High Efficiency Gas Backup and a Carrier Air-to-Air Exchanger. The system also has sub-slab zoned radiant heat. Chappell Central contracted with Midwest Underground to install six directionally bored horizontal loops. The Chappell Central employees keep up with new technologies and installation procedures of these complex systems by attending HVAC training on a regular basis. Residential no longer means low tech and this latest project is another example of that.
If you are building a new home, or are making home improvements to your home, contact Chappell Central to learn about the latest HVAC technologies that will make your home more comfortable and convenient.
